Terms of Service

Version 1.0, effective October 11, 2026

Updated October 11, 2026

These terms govern the use of discbot.fr. They protect the people who use the service, the Discord communities where the bots run, and the service itself. Read them before you create an account.

The short version

  1. discbot.fr belongs to Webfluid (webfluid.fr), which publishes and operates it.
  2. The service is free and in private beta: access can be granted, limited or withdrawn.
  3. You are responsible for your bot, what it does and following Discord’s rules.
  4. Not allowed: harmful bots, getting around the assistant’s rules, attacking or abusing the site.
  5. AI-written code can contain mistakes: test before you publish.
  6. If there is abuse, we can block a bot or close an account, immediately when needed.

This summary is a reading aid. Only the full text below is binding.

01Publisher and ownership of the service

The discbot.fr website, its subdomains, the dashboard, the assistant, the test environment and the bot hosting infrastructure (together, the “Service”) are the property of Webfluid (webfluid.fr), identified in France by SIREN number 105 514 723, which publishes and operates them. In these terms, “Webfluid”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Webfluid.

To reach us, see section 25.

discbot.fr is not affiliated with, endorsed or approved by Discord Inc. Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc.

02Definitions

  • “User” or “you”: anyone who creates an account or uses the Service.
  • “Account”: the personal space that gives access to the Service.
  • “Bot”: a Discord application that you create, configure, test or have hosted with the Service.
  • “Assistant”: the Service’s artificial intelligence tool that writes, edits and checks your Bots’ code based on your requests.
  • “Content”: everything you provide or have produced through the Service (messages to the Assistant, descriptions, text, images, settings, data, code), and everything your Bots post or store.
  • “Discord’s Rules”: Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy, as in force.

03Accepting these terms

By creating an Account or using the Service, you accept these terms without reservation. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an association, a company or any other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it. The terms then apply to you and to that organization.

Specific rules shown in the Service (usage limits, instructions for a feature) supplement these terms.

04Who can use the Service

To use the Service, you must:

  • be at least 15 years old, or the minimum age Discord requires in your country if that is higher;
  • if you are under 18, have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf;
  • give accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date;
  • not have been banned from the Service or from Discord, and not create an Account to get around a ban.

An Account is personal. It cannot be shared, lent, sold or transferred. We may refuse a sign-up or access, in particular when we doubt that these terms will be respected.

05Private beta, free use and limits

The Service is currently in private beta. Creating an Account is free, with no credit card. Building a Bot with the Assistant, testing it and having it hosted are reserved for Accounts we approve. A free Account alone does not grant that access.

We grant, limit, suspend or withdraw beta access at our discretion, in particular based on available capacity, security and compliance with these terms.

The Service has usage limits: for example the number of Bots, Discord servers, members, Assistant requests, tests, publications, storage or hosting resources. These limits are shown or enforced by the Service and may change. Failed attempts may count toward them. They come on top of Discord’s own limits, which we cannot lift.

Hosting covers one Discord server per Bot. We do not guarantee that Bots run 24 hours a day.

The Service is free today. If paid features appear, their prices and terms will be shown before any subscription, and you will never be charged without your express agreement.

06Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details confidential and for all activity on your Account. Tell us right away if you think your Account, or one of your Bots’ tokens, has been compromised.

Your Bot’s token (secret key) is stored encrypted, is never shown again and is never sent to the Assistant. You remain responsible for managing it in the Discord Developer Portal, including resetting it if it leaks.

We will never ask for your Discord password. Do not share it with anyone, including the Assistant.

07The AI Assistant

The Assistant is an artificial intelligence system. Its answers and the code it produces are generated automatically: they can be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure or unsuited to your needs, even when the Service’s checks pass.

Before publishing a Bot or a change, you must check how it behaves, in particular with the test environment. The decision to publish is yours.

The Assistant may refuse, change or stop a request, especially when it appears to go against these terms, the law or Discord’s Rules. A refusal does not entitle you to any compensation.

Identical or very similar results may be produced for other people. You have no exclusivity over them.

To work, the Assistant sends your requests and the relevant parts of your project to artificial intelligence model providers. Do not include sensitive data, unnecessary personal data or secrets (passwords, keys, tokens), whether yours or someone else’s.

The Assistant keeps internal notes about your project to help you better. They are used only to run the Service.

08Your Bot and Discord’s rules

Your Bot is a Discord application created under your own Discord developer account. Toward Discord, the servers where it is installed and their members, you are its developer and operator. Webfluid provides the tools and the technical hosting, and acts on your behalf.

You agree to:

  • follow Discord’s Rules, the rules of every server where your Bot is present and the applicable law;
  • only install your Bot on servers you administer, or with their administrators’ consent;
  • only request the permissions and intents your Bot actually needs;
  • tell the members concerned what data your Bot stores (for example points, inventories or warnings), only use it for what your Bot announces, and honor their deletion requests;
  • not use data obtained through Discord to sell it, pass it to unauthorized third parties or train artificial intelligence models;
  • comply promptly with any request from Discord about your Bot.

Discord can restrict or remove your Bot, your application or your account, or change its API, at any time. Those decisions are Discord’s alone. Webfluid is not responsible for them and may adapt the Service accordingly.

09Prohibited uses

You may not use the Service, or have a Bot built, tested or hosted, for any of the uses below. These prohibitions apply to requests made to the Assistant, to code you provide or have produced, and to everything your Bot does. The lists give examples and are not exhaustive.

Illegal or dangerous content and activities

  • any illegal content or activity, or anything that facilitates an offense;
  • any content that sexualizes minors, or any sexual interaction with minors. Such cases are reported to the authorities;
  • glorifying or promoting terrorism, violent extremism, crime or self-harm;
  • harassment, threats, intimidation, or incitement to hatred, violence or discrimination;
  • publishing someone’s personal information without their consent (doxxing), or intimate content without consent;
  • scams, phishing, fake giveaways or fake Nitro, fake lotteries and financial manipulation;
  • gambling with real money, or with items that can be exchanged for real money, without legal authorization;
  • selling or promoting illegal goods or services (drugs, weapons, forged documents, stolen accounts, etc.);
  • infringing other people’s rights (copyright, trademarks, image rights, privacy) or distributing pirated content;
  • impersonating a person, a brand, another bot, Discord or its staff, or Webfluid;
  • adult content outside age-restricted channels, or aimed at minors.

Bots that break Discord’s rules or cause harm

  • selfbots and any automation of a Discord user account;
  • bots that steal or try to obtain tokens, passwords, login codes or QR codes, or any other credentials;
  • raid, “nuke” or destruction bots: mass deletion of channels, roles or messages, mass bans, or taking over a server without the legitimate consent of its administrators;
  • spam: mass or unsolicited messages, mentions, reactions or direct messages, unwanted advertising, serial invite posting;
  • mass or hidden data collection: scraping messages, building member databases, tracking people across servers, recording voice conversations without consent;
  • getting around Discord’s limits, protections or decisions: rate limits, verification, captchas, bans, timeouts or moderation tools;
  • artificial manipulation: fake members, fake votes, fake reviews, inflated statistics, fraudulently obtained boosts or rewards;
  • running arbitrary code supplied by server members, or any backdoor that gives someone hidden control over a server or the Bot;
  • any bot designed to harm a person, a community or a server.

10Misuse of the AI Assistant

You may not:

  • try to get around the rules, limits or safety filters of the Assistant or the Service, including through jailbreaks, role play, fictional scenarios, splitting a request into pieces or hidden instructions (prompt injection);
  • hide instructions meant for the Assistant in files, images, knowledge text, Bot content, links or test data;
  • try to obtain the Assistant’s internal instructions, its notes, keys, secrets or other users’ data;
  • have it produce malicious code (viruses, ransomware, credential stealers, attack tools, exploits) or any of the bots prohibited in section 9, including by claiming it is for a test, an exercise, a demo or educational purposes;
  • have a mechanism added to a Bot that is meant to fool the Service’s checks, change its behavior after publication or hide what it really does;
  • use the Assistant for anything other than building and maintaining your Discord Bots, for example as a general chatbot, a mass content generator or a service resold to others;
  • query the Assistant by automated means (scripts, bots, unintended access);
  • use the Assistant’s output to develop or train an artificial intelligence model or a competing service.

11Attacks on the site and infrastructure

You may not:

  • access or try to access, without authorization, any system, Account, Bot or data that is not yours;
  • look for or exploit vulnerabilities, or scan, probe or test the security of the Service, except strictly as allowed by section 12;
  • disrupt, overload or slow down the Service: denial of service, mass requests, deliberate loops, excessive resource use;
  • escape or try to escape the isolated environment where Bots run, or use the hosting for anything other than your Bot’s normal operation: cryptocurrency mining, proxies, VPNs, traffic relays, storing or distributing files, attacks on third parties, scraping websites;
  • get around usage limits, beta access, quotas or a sanction, in particular by creating or using several Accounts;
  • create Accounts by automated means, or scrape, copy or index the Service by automated means;
  • decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law expressly allows it;
  • upload malicious files or content, or use image uploads to host files unrelated to your Bots;
  • abuse the support channel (repeated requests, threats, insults, false statements);
  • resell, rent or make access to the Service available to others without our written consent.

12Reporting security vulnerabilities

If you find a vulnerability, report it to us right away (section 25) with the details needed to reproduce it. Good-faith research is tolerated only if you:

  • do no more than needed to demonstrate the issue, on your own Account and your own Bots;
  • never view, change, copy or delete other people’s data;
  • do not degrade or interrupt the Service;
  • disclose nothing publicly before we fix it, within a reasonable time;
  • ask for nothing in exchange for your silence.

When these conditions are met, Webfluid will not take legal action over that research. This section does not authorize any illegal act and does not cover testing against Discord or third parties.

13Your Content and your Bots’ code

You keep the rights you hold in your Content. You confirm that you have all the rights and permissions needed for what you provide (text, images, names, trademarks, data), and that using it through the Service infringes no one’s rights.

To provide the Service, you grant Webfluid a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, technically adapt, run, send to our technical providers and display your Content. This license is used only to operate, secure and maintain the Service and to enforce these terms. It lasts as long as your Content is kept by the Service, including the retention periods described in section 21.

To the extent Webfluid holds rights in the code produced for your Bot, we allow you to use, modify and run it for your own needs, in line with these terms. The components of the Service itself (runtime, libraries, project templates, tools, Assistant instructions) remain Webfluid’s property and may only be used within the Service.

Code generated by artificial intelligence may not be protected by copyright and may resemble code produced for others. Webfluid does not guarantee its originality or that it is free of third-party rights.

Images you upload for your Bots are publicly accessible to anyone who has their link. Do not upload private images.

14Webfluid’s property

The Service, the discbot.fr name and brand, the logos, the website, its design, text, software, source code, databases and documentation are the exclusive property of Webfluid or its licensors, and are protected by intellectual property law.

Webfluid grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service under these terms, for as long as you have access. Any other use, reproduction, display, adaptation, extraction or exploitation, in whole or in part, without Webfluid’s prior written permission is prohibited and may constitute infringement.

If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, Webfluid may use them freely and at no cost, with no obligation to you.

15Monitoring, moderation and sanctions

To keep the Service secure, protect Discord communities and enforce these terms, Webfluid may review, automatically and when needed through an authorized person, requests made to the Assistant, Bots’ code and settings, their run logs and the use of the Service. Webfluid has no obligation to monitor all Content.

To help you or check a problem, an authorized person at Webfluid may open temporary access to your Account, for one hour at most. During this access, they see and use your Account as you would: your Bots, your conversations with the Assistant and your settings. Messages they send to the Assistant appear in your conversation and count toward your usage limits. Your Account cannot be deleted during this access, and every change made is recorded in an internal log.

If these terms, the law or Discord’s Rules are breached, or if there is a risk to security, to third parties or to the Service, Webfluid may, depending on severity:

  • refuse a request or block a publication;
  • remove Content or make a Bot unavailable;
  • stop hosting a Bot or delete the secrets stored for it;
  • reduce your usage limits;
  • withdraw your beta access;
  • suspend or delete your Account, and refuse any new sign-up from you.

These measures are proportionate. They may be taken immediately and without notice in an emergency, for a serious or repeated breach, or when security or people are at risk.

Unless the law forbids it or it would compromise security or an investigation, we tell you what measure was taken and why. You can contest it by writing to us (section 25): your complaint will be reviewed.

Webfluid may keep relevant evidence and pass it to the competent authorities when the law requires it or for manifestly illegal content. Webfluid may also report a Bot or an account to Discord.

A measure taken because of a breach on your part does not entitle you to any compensation.

16Reporting content or a Bot

Anyone, whether or not they use the Service, can report a Bot or Content they believe is illegal or breaks these terms by writing to the address in section 25. So that we can act, include:

  • the Bot’s name or ID, the Discord server concerned and, if possible, links or screenshots;
  • why the content seems illegal or against these terms;
  • your name and email address, except for reports of child sexual abuse, which may stay anonymous;
  • a statement confirming that your report is made in good faith and that the information is accurate and complete.

We handle reports diligently and tell you what action was taken. Manifestly unfounded or abusive reports may be ignored, and their authors may lose access to the Service.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services directly (112 in the EU). In France, illegal content can also be reported to the authorities at internet-signalement.gouv.fr.

17Personal data

Webfluid processes the personal data needed to run the Service: account data (provided through our authentication provider), Bots and settings, conversations with the Assistant, support requests, technical logs and security history.

Each Bot’s token is encrypted. The security history, visible only to you, contains metadata only and is kept for 90 days. Your data is not sold.

To manage the Service’s limits and capacity, Webfluid keeps usage statistics per Account (number of checks, simulations and publications per day) and may attach internal notes to your Account. Webfluid’s actions on Accounts (temporary access, beta access, suspensions, deletions, hosting stops) are recorded in an internal log limited to metadata, kept for one year, including after the Account is deleted.

This data is processed to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), for our legitimate interest in securing the Service and preventing abuse, and to meet our legal obligations. It is shared only with our technical providers (hosting, authentication, artificial intelligence models), to the extent necessary, and with the authorities when the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. You can delete your Account at any time from the Account page. To exercise your rights, write to us (section 25). You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

For the data about Discord members that your Bot stores, you are the data controller. Webfluid hosts and processes it only to run your Bot, following the instructions you give through the Service.

18Availability and changes to the Service

The Service is in beta. Webfluid works to keep it available but does not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation or uninterrupted running of hosted Bots. Interruptions may occur, in particular for maintenance, updates or incidents, or because of Discord or our providers.

Webfluid may change, limit, replace or remove all or part of the features. If the Service shuts down permanently, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance, except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise.

Webfluid does not guarantee that your Bots’ data (scores, inventories, settings) will be kept in all circumstances. Keep a copy of what matters to you.

19Liability

The Service is provided free of charge, in beta, “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, Webfluid gives no warranty, express or implied, in particular as to the fitness of the Service or the code produced for a particular purpose.

You alone are responsible for your Content, your Bots, their configuration, their publication and their effects on the servers and members concerned.

Webfluid is not responsible for:

  • Discord’s decisions, changes to its API or rules, or its outages;
  • damage caused by a Bot, by Assistant-produced code that you published, or by a misconfiguration;
  • loss of Bot data, community, audience, revenue, opportunity or reputation, and more generally any indirect damage;
  • acts of third parties, third-party services and force majeure.

Webfluid can only be held liable for direct and foreseeable damage caused by a proven failure on its part. For business users, its total liability is limited to 100 euros, all causes combined.

Nothing in these terms limits Webfluid’s liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct or personal injury, or the rights the law gives consumers that cannot be waived.

20Your indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify Webfluid against any claim, action, judgment, fine or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Content, your Bots, your use of the Service or your breach of these terms, the law or Discord’s Rules.

21Term, Account deletion and termination

These terms apply for as long as you use the Service.

You can stop at any time by deleting your Account from the Account page. Deletion erases your Bots, their drafts and code versions and stored site data, then the hosted player data as soon as the hosting server reconnects. Technical backups are kept until the end of their retention period, then disappear. Nothing is deleted on Discord’s side: remove your Bot from your servers yourself and, if needed, delete the application in the Discord Developer Portal.

Webfluid may end your access without cause with 30 days’ notice. In case of a breach, access may end immediately, as described in section 15.

Webfluid may keep some data after an Account is closed when the law requires it, or for as long as needed to prove and defend its rights in case of abuse, a dispute or a request from the authorities.

Sections 13, 14, 19, 20, 23 and 24, and any provision that by its nature should survive, remain in effect after you stop using the Service.

22Changes to these terms

Webfluid may change these terms, in particular to follow changes to the Service, the law or Discord’s Rules. The version in force and its date appear at the top of this page.

For important changes, we will notify you by appropriate means (in the Service, on the website or by email) at least 15 days before they take effect. This period may be shorter when the change is required by law or needed for security. If you do not accept the new terms, you can delete your Account before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service afterward means you accept them.

23General provisions

If a clause is found void or unenforceable, it is replaced by the valid clause closest to its intent, and the other clauses remain in force.

Webfluid’s failure to act on a breach does not waive its right to act on it later.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our consent. Webfluid may transfer the contract to any entity that takes over all or part of the Service; you will be informed.

Records from Webfluid’s systems (logs, timestamps, histories) are evidence between the parties, unless proven otherwise.

These terms are written in French and translated into English. If the versions differ, the French version prevails.

24Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If you live in another European Union country, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of your country’s law.

If there is a problem, write to us first (section 25): we will look for an amicable solution.

If you are a consumer, you can use a consumer mediator free of charge, under articles L.611-1 and following of the French Consumer Code. Webfluid will give you the mediator’s details on request.

Failing agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts. If you are a business, the courts with jurisdiction over Webfluid’s registered office have exclusive jurisdiction.
