How much does discbot.net cost?

Nothing, for now. The account is free, no credit card is asked for and there is no paid plan. Building, testing and hosting a bot are for approved private beta accounts.

Updated

What is free today?

Everything discbot.net offers. There is no paid version with extra features, because no paid plan exists.

  • The account and the dashboard.
  • The assistant, which writes your bot’s real code, checks it and tells you what it changed.
  • Browser tests: commands, messages and buttons reply before anything reaches Discord.
  • The encrypted vault that keeps your bot’s token.
  • Hosting of your bot by discbot.net, on your Discord server.
  • Exporting your projects.

Why do I need to be approved?

discbot.net is in private beta. A free account alone is not enough: the assistant, tests and hosting are opened account by account, depending on available capacity, security and compliance with the Terms of Service.

Meanwhile, you can view and export your projects. Your Account page shows whether your access is open and lets you contact support.

What limits apply during the beta?

The service enforces these limits itself. They protect shared capacity and may change during the beta.

5
projects per account, archived projects included
1
hosted bot per account
1
Discord server per hosted bot
100
assistant messages per day, at most 10 in any 5 minutes
1
bot at a time for the assistant to work on, per account
10
checks in 5 minutes, and as many test simulations

The number of bots hosted at the same time across the whole service is limited too. When every place is taken, your project stays saved and you can try again later.

Failed attempts may count. Discord’s own limits apply on top, and hosting is not guaranteed to run 24 hours a day.

Do I need a credit card?

No. discbot.net asks for no payment method, neither at sign-up nor later.

Create your account, it is free for now. Your Account page then tells you whether your beta access is open.
